Known around the block as “Q”, Robert (he/his) is a Bronx born Nuyorican and Flatbush resident who is focused on empowering neighbors, especially those who have been underestimated. He is a driven community organizer, strategic connector and compassionate mental health advocate.
At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Q joined with Feed the Freelancers Mutual Aid to help collect, organize and distribute over 400lbs of food for freelance workers impacted by the shut down. Flatbush Mixtape began when Q noticed the increase in trash accumulation in the neighborhood as the city of New York struggled to meet the needs of the community.
Q is an experienced videographer whose vision is to capture the beauty of blackness through music, theater, dance & film.
